Comprehensive Skin Checks by Our Expert Dermatology-Trained Doctors in Brisbane South

At SunSafe Skin Clinic, we specialize in the detection of skin cancer and melanoma.

By combining cutting-edge technology with the expertise of our highly qualified practitioners, we significantly increase the likelihood of detecting melanoma at its earliest, most treatable stage. Your skin health is our priority, and our thorough approach ensures the best possible care.

Our Services include but not limited to:

Comprehensive
head-to-toe skin examination

Sequential Monitoring of moles over time

Recording of important skin lesions in high risk patients

Biopsy (Sampling) or Excision (removal) of skin cancers including melanomas.

A Full Skin Check is a detailed visual assessment of your entire body to detect signs of cancerous or precancerous lesions.

This thorough examination covers your skin from head to toe, including areas such as the scalp, behind your ears, and between your toes. It is conducted by a skilled practitioner trained in dermatology and skin cancer detection, with many years of experience in the field.

During the check, we perform a comprehensive risk assessment by asking about factors like where you grew up, the number of sunburns you’ve had, the number of moles you currently have, your family history, and other relevant details. This helps us assess your risk level and determine the appropriate frequency for your skin checks.

To learn more about your risk and calculate it, please visit the Cancer Council Queensland’s website.
